Medical Digital Imaging of Texas goes live with PDS SBEDI service! MDI was founded in 2002 to better serve the medical field with high quality imaging products and service. MDI is run by a team of professionals, each of whom has 20+ years experience in the radiology industry. MDI is a leader in Texas offering cost savings through new & remanufactured equipment and a complete line of consumable products featuring Kodak, Fuji and Allied Diagnostic Imaging products. We have our main office in Austin and Sales/Service Personnel in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Beaumont, and Bryan/College Station.

PDS switched over to Sterling Commerce as primary Value Added Network provider.  This migration provides increase reliability and visibility to ensure successful delivery of our customers’ electronic documents.  The migration also provides additional savings due to higher volume discount, and the savings were passed on to our customers.  PDS is committed to long term relationship with our customers, and as a token of appreciation, our customers will save 10% to 15% on data usage.

PDS has successfully completed data center migration today from Peer1 to Amazon EC2.  The new data center gives PDS room to grow and quickly scale up and out as needed.  New data center servers and hardware provide high degree of redundancy, making sure that PDS SBEDI and MTD services run uninterrupted while nearly eliminating data loss.  The new environment is multi-server with dedicated servers for application and database.  Existing customers were unaffected as the migration took place over the weekend.  PDS customers can look forward to higher level of reliability and rest assured that their data is secure and safe.

PDS has been helping us for more than 10 years in the past with an in-house EDI solution.  David has played a key-role in successfully architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining the in-house solution for many years.  Recently, we upgraded our back-end application that manages our business.  At the same time, we consulted with PDS and agreed to switch our in-house EDI system to PDS SBEDI solution.  PDS managed the migration project  for EDI and worked with our back-end application vendor to transition from our existing application on in-house EDI solution, to new our new application integrated with PDS SBEDI.

PDS SBEDI has saved me a considerable amount of time on my daily EDI operations, and PDS helped to customize the user interface to make it even more seamless.  PDS SBEDI has helped to eliminate almost all data entry, and our EDI PO and invoices are completely integrated with our new back-end application.  We are very happy to be on PDS SBEDI, and highly recommend this EDI business solution.
